Job Details

The American Enterprise Institute is looking for a well-rounded digital marketer to join our growing Digital Strategy team. Success in this role requires a background in the essentials of modern communications — email marketing, web analytics, digital advertising, and copywriting — and a deep appreciation for AEI’s mission of advancing the moral case for free enterprise.

As a nonprofit organization structured much like a university, AEI doesn’t take institutional positions on public policy. Thus the ideal candidate must be able to define a project’s strategy, set measurable goals, and execute a plan with a high degree of independence. He or she might also research AEI’s history and suggest what our team can help the Institute achieve in the years ahead.

Qualified candidates should submit an online application to www.aei.org/jobs, complete with a cover letter, resume, transcripts, and a 500-word writing sample.

About the Digital Strategy Team

AEI’s Digital Strategy team is a relatively new department that promotes our scholars’ work across several channels. Our team is responsible for AEI’s web properties (e.g., AEI.org), primary social media channels, flagship email newsletters, and general web audience development. We are a small group that works collaboratively with both each other and research teams across AEI.

About AEI

The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is a public policy think tank dedicated to defending human dignity, expanding human potential, and building a freer and safer world. The work of its scholars and staff advances ideas rooted in a belief in democracy, free enterprise, American strength and global leadership, solidarity with those at the periphery of our society, and a pluralistic, entrepreneurial culture.

AEI is committed to making the intellectual, moral, and practical case for expanding freedom, increasing individual opportunity, and strengthening the free enterprise system in America and around the world. Its work explores ideas that further these goals, and AEI scholars take part in this pursuit with academic freedom. AEI operates independently of any political party and has no institutional positions. Its scholars’ conclusions are fueled by rigorous, data-driven research and broad-ranging evidence.
