Are you interested in contributing to the free enterprise movement at one of America’s leading think tanks? We have an opportunity for a creative, entrepreneurial, hardworking person to join AEI’s external affairs team. You will be responsible for helping market our work to and develop relationships with key leaders in think tanks, business organizations, nonprofits, community groups, and state and local government. 

 

The ideal candidate will be happy in an intellectual, detail-oriented, and creative environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include contact management, event planning and logistics, marketing, and research. These responsibilities require excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong writing and communication skills; the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask; and a creative and entrepreneurial personality. A demonstrated commitment to AEI’s mission is required. 

 

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, a bachelor’s degree is required and experience with a contact management database such as Salesforce is a plus. The position will interface regularly with scholars, research assistants, and members of the broader AEI communications and outreach teams.
