Overview




Huntington Ingalls Industries (formerly Fulcrum) is seeking aGEOINT ISR Instructor / Training Specialistto work within the Training branch of our customer in Northern Virginia.





Our GEOINT ISR Instructor / Training Specialist will provide training and course instruction that reflects current and relevant improvised threat curricula. The individual will maintain training, change/edit or enhance curriculum for JIDO personnel; Combatant Commands and their conventional and special operations forces; NATO and Coalition forces; Interagency partners; and Other Government agencies as requested. The Instructor / Training Specialist will also ensure that all materials, educational processes and curricula delivery are in compliance with National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation requirements and Defense Intelligence Education and Training Board (DITEB) requirements.







Responsibilities





+ Provide classroom, distance learning, or MTT instruction for JIDO curricula on Geospatial, ISR and other intelligence disciplines to include advanced analytics and technology integration to personnel in Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) sites, including hazardous duty areas.


+ Instructors needed for the following area: Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) with extensive knowledge of DGS/DCGS, ArcGIS, Google Earth and some experience conducting link analysis. Must have indepth understanding of full spectrum ISR operations and/or indepth knowledge of Geospatial intelligence to include TCPED - exploitation, development and dissemination of multi-sensor geospatial and target intelligence products to support war fighting operations and other activities.


+ Obtain JDT7 ET Primary, Secondary, Lead and Assistant Instructor certifications and maintain current instructor certification IAW JDT7 ET Standard Operating Procedures and DoD Defense Intelligence Training and Education Board requirements.


+ Comply with Foreign Disclosure Office and Intelligence Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings.


+ Provide routine reviews and update course material in coordination with the Instructional Systems Designer and Psychometrician to ensure courseware maintains currency, utility and accreditation.


+ Specific responsibilities will include updating lessons as required, providing guidance and analytic support as well as providing instruction to analysts and warfighters on GEOINT topics to include methodologies; Tactics, Techniques and Procedures; Processes and the application of GEOINT in creating intelligence products to meet the government's needs.


+ Ability to deploy/travel for short periods of time worldwide.


+ Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.





Qualifications




Minimum Education and Experience Required:



+ Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related experience


+ Demonstrated experience working with military tactical, operational, and strategic level units providing GEOINT and ISR support.


+ Completion of a military service or Imagery or GEOINT analyst Course.


+ Strong working knowledge of national and operational GEOINT exploitation processes, policies and production cycles


+ Advanced knowledge of national and commercial GEOINT collection systems, as well as the fundamental methodologies of Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) or Advanced GEOINT (AGI) MTI, DGS, ArcGIS, Google Earth and other Geospatial Analysis.


+ Experience using analytic software such as Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or JIDOs (JIDA/JIEDDO) Attack the Network (AtN) Tools Suite (ANTS).


+ Formal instructor training/certification and experience teaching in the intelligence field or on topics involving improvised threats.


+ Working knowledge of development of learning objectives; methodologies of lecture, demonstration and practical exercise; adult learning theory and use of training aids


+ Indepth knowledge of Tasking Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED)


+ Strong oral and written communication skills.


+ Strong, detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills.


+ Due to the nature of OCONUS travel, a Current U.S. passport is required


+ Ability to deploy or TDY for short periods of time worldwide.


+ Expertise in using web browsers and browsing, search engines, and advanced search queries



Desired or Preferred Qualifications:



+ Bachelors degree and over 5+ years Geospatial analysis experience


+ Three (3+) years as a formal instructor in topics related to the intelligence field or improvised threats


+ Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) experience


+ Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency (JIDA) experience


+ Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) experience






Clearance Requirements:



+ Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
