GES is now seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Specialist to contribute to a number of key functions including recruitment, new hire orientation and on-boarding, compensation and benefits, and employment labor laws.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Provide HR support to employees and all levels of management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all recruitment of any potential candidates.
  • Manage resume database in order to ensure all incoming resumes from job boards and potential candidates are reviewed and considered if appropriate.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to ensure the interested candidates are qualified before submitting them to hiring managers.
  • Work with hiring managers to fill vacant positions and create a pipeline of candidates who will ultimately fill open positions in the future.
  • Prepare and deliver all employment offers.
  • Ensure all information in database is current and correct regarding candidate status, licensing, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with other company functions such as Accounting Department with payroll.
  • Responsible for updating employee data in Deltek.
  • Answer employee benefits, policy and other HR questions and inquiries.
  • Perform benefits administration, including communication, open enrollment, invoice reconciliation and claims resolution.
  • Maintain all personnel records.

Requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 10 years of HR and/or recruiting experience.
  • Must have stable employment history.

  • Excellent communication and people skills. 
  • Proficient with MS Office.

  • Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  •  Must desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
