The Role

The Small Business Card Brand Marketing team is a passionate and entrepreneurial team of brand strategists, marketers and experience designers focused on building a breakaway business brand from the inside out.

We are looking for a Brand Strategist/Marketer to join our team focused on continuing to build a breakaway business brand. This role will lead the external brand strategy inclusive of helping to define the story we want to tell in the marketplace along with how we tell it. While initially focused on building the strategy, this role will also be responsible for partnering with channel strategists to ultimately launch and roll-out in-market.

    • Leading marketing and brand strategy efforts in large organizations

    • Integrated strategy - we would love to bring someone on to the team that has previous experience working across a number of channels specifically in PR, digital, social and mass reaching channels like TV, print and audio.

    • Leading a brand strategy for a specific segment/affinity group responsible for formulating and executing integrated, strategically-focused marketing plans to drive demand among prospect and customers within a specific segment.

What youll do:

  • Partner with brand/product/channel strategists

  • Lead the external business brand strategy from development to in-market execution and performance

  • Partner with brand analytics team to establish clear KPIs

  • Manage all external brand governance in partnership with Marketing Ops

  • Ensure we have a holistic view of annual marketing/campaign plan

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience

  • At least 3 years leading integrated marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • MBA, with a concentration in Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience at a national brand or advertising agency
  • 1+ years of B2B financial services marketing experience or product experience
