We have been retained by Greenberg Traurig, LLP to recruit a Marketing Specialist to work with the firm's Washington, D.C. office and Federal Government Law & Policy Practices to organize, support and implement their marketing, business development and communication initiatives in coordination with a team of marketing professionals. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working with the Managing Shareholders, Marketing Director and Business Director, to develop and implement business development aspects of the Washington, D.C. office plan. Track and communicate attorney business development activities and work to determine ROI to assist with decision-making on future efforts.

• Working with the Federal Government Law & Policy Practice Manager and practice group attorneys and directors to support the strategic goals of the practice to elevate the group’s brand and client base through related marketing and business development efforts.

• Develop strong working relationships with attorneys and government directors and knowledge of the capabilities within the office and practice group.

• Prepare and maintain content that accurately and compelling describes the group’s capabilities and offerings for utilization in pitch materials, marketing surveys, directories and nominations.

• Prepare nominations, directory submissions and responses to marketing surveys.

• Plan, organize, and implement all aspects of client events, from invitation, to execution and follow up.

• Make recommendations for and coordinate office and practice event sponsorships, memberships and event attendance at client events in order to increase the visibility and influence of the firm in the local market.

• In coordination with the graphics team, prepare advertisements for community programs and events.

• Create pitch materials, proposals, and responses to RFPs, and track and analyze the results.

• May conduct business intelligence or other research, as directed.

• Liaise with other marketing department members and business professionals as needed to handle assigned responsibilities. 

• Assist with and manage a variety of short and long term projects and day to day requests as needed.

Qualifications & Prior Experience

• Bachelor’s degree is required

• Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing or business development

• High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Experience at a law firm and Capitol Hill is preferred
