This Program Manager will contribute to the development and deployment of content strategy and programming (to include course/content selection, evaluation, and updates) with a special focus on Leadership Development. The incumbent will work closely with external and internal customers to prepare/customize this content for new and expanded audiences (such as international, students, etc.). The incumbent will also partner with marketing and web operations to deploy campaigns and messaging for said programming.

 

  • Develop and deploy content strategy and programming within the Continuing Education and Professional Growth group (including course/content selection and updates), with a special focus on Leadership Development
  • Partner with internal and external entities to prepare and/or customize content for new or expanded audiences
  • Provide oversight for evaluation activities within the department to inform program improvements/modifications
  • Partner with marketing and web strategy to promote content to internal units and external organizations
  • Provide oversight for strategy pertaining to the training and functions of course/workshop facilitators
  • Support the Senior Manager with other activities of the unit and Division as needed. This includes activities that advance ACS learning opportunities and the value of these opportunities for current and prospective members, as well as representing the Society at ACS national, regional, and local section meetings, and at meetings external to ACS

College degree or equivalent experience; may have an advanced degree or equivalent experience in training and development. 8+ years of related experience.

Experience in developing, designing, deploying and evaluating training and professional development for science and engineering professionals.

Experience in training facilitators helpful. Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and collaboration skills.
