Public Health Data Scientist

The Challenge:

We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to improve the healthcare industry. Youll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Youll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help make informed decisions.     You Have:

    -5+ years of experience with public health, epidemiologic study design, and data management and analysis

    -Experience with SAS

    -Knowledge of DoD or VA public health issues

    -MA, MS, or MPH degree\r\n

    Nice If You Have:

    -Experience with management consulting and cross-team facilitation

    -Knowledge of exposure science, patient registries, the Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER), the Exposome, and precision medicine

    -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting client deliverables and findings at conferences or internal roundtable discussions
