Essential Functions

  1. Partners with HR to develop a fluid overall recruiting strategy for the corporation.
  2. Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  3. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for all types of employment relationships including both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  4. Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates.
  5. Prepares and post recruiting needs on social media (Facebook, Linked in, Instagram, etc.), corporate website and other electronic sites as strategy requires.
  6. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as cold calls, social media, online job fairs, web sites, career fairs, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  7. Develops advertising programs (internal and external) as needed to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  8. Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  9. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  10. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  11. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  12. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  13. Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy and federal laws.
  14. Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.

15.May manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.

16.Assist with the government security clearance process, both during the hiring process as well as for internal renewal and updating.

17.Develop, maintain and report statistical data on recruiting data points, such as time to fill, etc.

18.Working with HR and business development provide salary data, including mapping descriptions to applicable positions,  and resumes of candidates for proposal submission

19.Other duties as assigned



Required Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, and a minimum 3 years’ experience recruiting for a government contractor providing services to DoD, preferably experience recruiting to provide healthcare support services to DoD.  Relevant recruiting or HR experience may be substituted for education.

Knowledge and experience with healthcare industry (support services) desired.

Must be technologically knowledgeable with the ability to develop, establish and maintain corporate social media presence.

HRIS experience required.

Certification as a HR professional desired.

Must be clearable; US citizenship is a requirement for clearance.
