]]> The American Federation for Children, the nation\'s voice for educational choice, seeks an experienced and committed individual to join the communications team to write annual reports, documents and publications, as well as work closely with the development team to write grants, proposals and conduct research, and work with the policy director on annual reports and timely research projects.

  • Develop and write annual AFC/ASC publications (Legislative Impact Report, Elections Impact Report, Yearbook, etc.)
  • Write compelling proposals and reports to secure new commitments and upgrade existing donor commitments
  • Develop and write grant applications
  • Work with development and policy team members to conduct research and draft reports, proposals and publications
  • Write and/or edit content for the monthly newsletters and other marketing materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Successful experience in persuasive writing a plus
