CLS Strategies, a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs and strategic communications firm is looking to hire an energetic, hardworking and organized individual for an opening as a Senior Associate.

CLS Strategies serves a range of clients – including Fortune 100 corporations, trade associations, foreign governments, international organizations and non-profits. Some are in the midst of regulatory and legislative challenges, or high-stakes litigation. Others are facing government investigations or reputational threats. All are looking for creative solutions at the intersection of politics, public policy and communications.

Candidates should have a passion for communications and public affairs, the ability to masterfully juggle a broad range of tasks and excellent attention to detail. The Senior Associate will need to write persuasive materials, conduct research, pitch the media and assist with digital advertising, monitoring and analytics. This ideal candidate will also think strategically and be able to grasp complex issues across multiple clients.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have at least two to four years of experience in public relations, public affairs and/or politics. Experience with litigation and/or crisis communications is a plus.
