Job Description

HII-TSD is currently seeking a Targeting Instructor to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)'s Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization or JIDO.

The Targeting Instructor will develop coursework as well as conduct training that reflects current and relevant improvised threat curricula to DTRA personnel; Combatant Commands and their conventional and special operations forces; NATO and Coalition forces; Interagency partners; and Other Government agencies as requested. The Instructor / Training Specialist will ensure that all materials, educational processes and curricula delivery are in compliance with National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation requirements and Defense Intelligence Education and Training Board (DITEB) requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities

+ Provide classroom, distance learning, or MTT instruction for JIDO curricula on Targeting and Targeting Support products, advanced analytics, analytic tradecraft, and technology integration to personnel in Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) sites, including hazardous duty areas.

+ Specific responsibilities include providing instruction to analysts and warfighters on the research, analysis and assessments required in the development of targeting packages.

+ Maintain current instructor certification IAW JIDO J7 Standard Operating Procedures and DoD Defense Intelligence Training and Education Board requirements.

+ Comply with Foreign Disclosure Office and Intelligence Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings.

+ Provide for routine review and updating of course material to maintain currency and utility.

+ Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

+ 5-8+ years experience working with military tactical, operational, and strategic level units to include recent experience developing targeting packages consisting of detailed, actionable intelligence for nominated targets based on detailed analysis of relevant all source intelligence information, including related intelligence disciplines and network analysis of potential targets

+ Experience using analytic software such as Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or JIDO's Attack the Network Tools Suite

+ 2+ years of Formal instructor training/certification and experience teaching in the intelligence field or on topics involving improvised threats

+ Experience as a Targeteer or Targeting Analyst

+ Strong, detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to travel for short periods of time worldwide (if necessary)

+ 15+ Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 13+ Years of relevant experience with Masters

+ Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Requirements

+ 5+ years as a formal instructor in topics related to the intelligence field

+ Master's degree

+ Recent experience as a Targeteer (last 2 years)

+ Collection Requirements Manager/Analyst experience

+ Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) experience

+ Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Agency (JIDA) experience

+ Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) experience

Physical Requirements

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the discipline. Office work environment.
