Medtronic Navigation provides systems for surgical navigation and dedicated imaging devices for intraoperative imaging. To support the fast-growing Image Guided Surgery and Intra-operative X-ray system customer base, we are extending our support organization with a Technical Consultant in Denmark / Norway.

A Day in the Life

We offer you a position where you will support and advice doctors in brain, ENT (Ear Nose Throat) and spinal surgery on hospitals with image guiding technology to improve accuracy and safety in the operation. The technology works like a GPS system for the car and allow doctors to see in real-time where they are operating and what they will encounter in the patient anatomy.

This is a great opportunity to experience and achieve insight within the surgery support area to make sure that patients receive optimal treatment with our advanced technology. This means that you will be an important part of the surgeries and over time become a champion in the advanced technology and how doctors can use it in new ways.

Furthermore, it will be your distinguished role to support the expanding install base of capital equipment for image guided surgery as well as intraoperative X-ray systems.

Job Responsibilities

Repair and install existing technical equipment by providing on-site and remote support

Navigate and control the technical equipment in real-time operations

Teach users of the equipment

take ownership of the Danish district and its located installations

1 and 2 level support operations and escalations in line with the corporate compliance

Must Haves


Electrical or biomechanical engineer

Education in health technology or a nurse with solid technical skills

Working with technical service

experience from university hospitals or medical device industry is a plus as well as knowledge of PACS and DICOM

Fluent in Danish and English

Valid drivers license

Excellent project management skills

Self-motivated and independent

Reliable and quality oriented

Experience with working in an international matrix environment

Confident problem solver and an executor by nature

Travel require up to 75% of working hours
